Pressure Testing Software

Written in Python using PYQT libaraies for the GUI this application is a simple method of capturing and monitoring a hydro pressure testing. The data acquistion can be almost anything that spits out the correct ASCII string via a com port. Although the app is written in Python using Py2exe there's no need to have the python IDE installed on the machine using it and will install and run like any normal Win app.

Liquid Additive System

The "LAS" was my first PID control system. It's relies of a motoriesed ball valve to maintain a flow rate. The feedback its provided by a 1" flow meter The flow rate setpoint is a ratio based on another flow signal. Have a read of the data sheet.

Spider Data Acquisition

The Spider was built with ruggedness in mind. All stainless components and a IP56 rated enclosure. It has four 16bit analog channels and four frequency channels with independent counters for each. There are also two relay outputs. Download the below data sheet for further details.

Pressure Testing Control System

The hydro pressure test system was designed as an all in one box solution for hydro pressure testing. It has connections for a; magnetic lock, warning light, air solenoid and pressure transducer. The system is operated via a web application. The video shows you how it's used. To view the video please download it first.

WITS Transfer System

This device was designed to convert serial data into TCIP WITS packets. Based on a Raspberry Pi written in Python the program is configured using a web application. The WITS packets can be received by any machine on the same subnet.

Portable Data Acquisition

Designed to be easy to rig up and carry around. Quick turnaround for construction and low cost to build. This style of design has been utilized extensively in my current roll. Watch this space for the new touch screen version.
